Dr Corrigan graduated with Honours from Monash University in 1977. He subsequently spent three years in medical and physician training at Prince Henry's Hospital and Queen Victoria Medical Centre, followed by a year of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, then one year full time emergency medicine registrar at Box Hill Hospital. He is married with three children, the youngest of whom has completed a medical degree.

I began my medical training with the intention of becoming a GP and have never regretted that career path. General practice gives me the opportunity to care for patients through every age and stage with all the physical and emotional challenges they face. I'm passionate about preventive health and try to practise what I preach. Thanks to the wonderful support of staff and other doctors here I have an ideal setting in which to practice.

Dr Hosking graduated from Monash University in 1981. She spent three years at Queen Victoria Hospital undertaking further study in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Sports Medicine. She did further work in adolescent health and medical education for joint universities. She is glad to be a generalist but enjoys Paediatric Medicine and preventive medicine as well as Sports Medicine. She has two adult children and Minx, a pet cat. Belinda is also a fanatical golfer and skier.

Dr Toh graduated from University of Melbourne in 1986. She did further hospital training in rehabilitation medicine, geriatrics and women's health. She has been in general practice since 1990 and is interested in all aspects of general practice. In her spare time she likes craft.

 

Dr Barbara Uhlenbruch

Barbara graduated from Monash University in 1990. She has had subsequent hospital training in general medicine and paediatrics and holds a diploma of obstetrics and gynaecology. She has also been actively involved in GP education. Barbara was working in general practice in Prahran for 14 years before joining Belmore Road Medical Centre in May 2008. Her clinical interests include shared obstetric care, paediatrics, mindfulness strategies and dermatology. Outside work she likes to spend time in a little studio making outdoor mosaic art pieces.

Dr Lim graduated from University of Auckland, New Zealand in 1989. She has been in general practice for 20 years both in New Zealand and Australia, with an interest in women's health and paediatrics. She has always had an interest in general practice as it provides an opportunity to provide ongoing comprehensive care for families and individuals over a period of time and to care for their psychosocial and medical needs. She is married and enjoys the challenges of raising three sons in conjunction with her medical career. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, gardening and tennis.

 

Dr Sara Whitburn

Sara grew up in Melbourne and graduated from Flinders University, Adelaide in 2002. She completed her intern year in Queensland and then worked in the UK for 5 years. In the UK, she worked in a range of hospital specialities as well as completing UK GP training. She returned to Australia in 2009, gained her FRACGP and has been working in general practice and family planning.

Sara has interests in breastfeeding medicine, women's health, contraception and sexual health as well as children and adolescent health. Sara is able to provide Implanons, IUDs and shared antenatal care. Sara is also developing her interests in chronic disease and men's health.

Sara enjoys reading, swimming, bike riding and tennis. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and young daughter and son.

Dr Jennifer Neil graduated with honours from University of Melbourne in 2003. She spent 4 years in the Emergency Medicine Training program at Monash Medical Centre including completing her primary examination, before deciding on a career in General Practice which she commenced in 2011. She has also worked in psychiatry and rehabilitation medicine amongst other hospital rotations.

Jennifer's interests include paediatrics, mental health, women's health and chronic disease management. She has a certificate in skin cancer medicine and is able to provide Implanons and shared antenatal care. She also has an appointment at Monash University teaching medical students.

Outside of medicine she enjoys gardening, running, cooking and spending time with her husband and three children.

Dr Nibo Wu

Dr Wu graduated from the University of Melbourne before undertaking hospital training at Austin Health. Throughout her hospital years, she completed a wide range of rotations including those in internal medicine, surgery, intensive care, emergency medicine, rehabilitation and psychiatry. She is interested in all aspects of general practice and has accreditation to provide shared obstetric care, Implanons and IUDs. Dr Wu is also able to perform minor surgical procedures and iron infusions, and is currently developing interests in weight management. In her spare time, she enjoys playing badminton and trying out different musical instruments.

Dr Harmer has been in general practice for 35 years. His main interests are preventive medicine and Geriatrics. He has three adult children and lives locally. His hobbies are cycling, gardening and reading (especially history). Dr Harmer retired in July 2018 after a long career in general practice.
