Dr Simon Corrigan
MBBS (Hons)
Dr Corrigan graduated with Honours from Monash University in 1977. He subsequently spent three years in medical and physician training at Prince Henry’s Hospital and Queen Victoria Medical Centre, followed by a year of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, then one-year full time emergency medicine registrar at Box Hill Hospital.
He is married (to Dr Lorraine Baker) and together they have three children, the youngest of whom is also a doctor.

Dr Lorraine Baker
MBBS Dip RANZCOG Grad Dip Wom Health
Dr Baker began medical training with the intention of becoming a GP and has never regretted that choice. Working in general practice gives her the opportunity to care for patients through every age and stage with all the physical and emotional challenges they face. She has an abiding interest in preventive health and tries to practise what she preaches.
Outside the practice she enjoys, cooking, gardening, studying French and walking for exercise.

Dr Vivien Lim
BHB MBChB FRNZCGP FRACGP
Vivien grew up in New Zealand and graduated from the University of Auckland in 1989. She has been in general practice for more than 25 years both in New Zealand and Australia and has been working at Belmore Road Medical Centre since 2010. Her clinical interests include women’s health, paediatrics, mental health and travel medicine. She is fluent in conversational Cantonese language.
Vivien has always had passion for general practice as it provides an opportunity to provide ongoing comprehensive care for families and individuals over a period of time and to care for their various psychosocial and medical needs.
She is married and enjoys the challenges of raising three sons in conjunction with her medical career. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, gardening and tennis.

A/Prof Jennifer Neil
MBBS (Hons) FRACGP GradCert (ClinTeach)
A/Prof Jennifer Neil is a GP who works both clinically and academically and is Head of Curriculum for the Monash University Medical School.
Jennifer Neil graduated in 2003 from the University of Melbourne with
honours. She worked as a doctor in the emergency medicine training
program for several years before deciding on a career in general
practice. She is the curriculum and assessment lead for general
practice at Monash University, overseeing and teaching hundreds of
medical students and is also a member of the senior management
team in the Department of General Practice.
Jennifer has also worked for many years as a family violence
educator for both the University of Melbourne and LaTrobe University
and has co-authored two chapters in the RACGP guideline on abuse
and violence. She is passionate about working with victim survivors of
family violence and uses a trauma-informed approach in all her
consultations. She loves working in general practice and enjoys
seeing all types of GP presentations. She also has a particular interest
in mental health, women’s health, chronic disease management and
adolescent health.

Dr Nibo Wu
MBBS FRACGP BMedSci Dip Surgical Anatomy
Nibo graduated from University of Melbourne and completed most of her training at Austin Health. She enjoys all aspects of general practice, and has special interests and additional training in:
- Preventive health
- Weight management
- Women’s health including management of menstrual problems, perimenopause health
- Shared Maternity Care with various metropolitan maternity hospitals (including Mercy, RWH, Eastern Health)
- Implanon insertion and removal
- Intrauterine device insertion and removal (including Mirena, Kyleena and copper)
- Iron infusions
- Skin cancer checks and excisions, minor surgical procedures
- Lactation consultations (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant®).
Nibo also holds accreditation with Epworth as a surgical assistant and is an examiner for the University of Melbourne.

Dr Angela Gavralas
MBBS FRACGP
Dr Gavralas has been a doctor since 1995. She has a special interest in women’s health, paediatrics, implanon insertions, iron infusions and general family health.
She has a special expertise in travel medicine, including the administering of Yellow Fever vaccine.

Dr Kim Nguyen
MBBS DRANZCOG FRACGP
Kim grew up in Melbourne and graduated from Monash University in 2010.
Kim chose general practice for her medical career because it covers all areas of medicine, and it gives her the privilege of building long term relationships with her patients.

Dr Barbara Uhlenbruch
MBBS (Hons) FRACGP Dip RACOG
Dr Uhlenbruch – or “Barb” as we know her in the practice has retired from medical practice as of May 2025.
We are all wishing her a long and happy retirement, but know we at the practice, and all the patients who have received her care over the many years she has worked here, will regret the loss of access to her compassionate care and clinical acumen.
Drs Baker and Corrigan are grateful for all the support Barb has given to the smooth running of the practice over the years, including willingness to adapt to all the building works and ups and downs of the onset of the pandemic.
